STUCCO is a series consisting of three stucco corner moldings. The appearance and installation of the Stuccos detach them from their decorative function and highlight a sculptural perspective. The „patina“ creates a notion of time: The Stuccos could be parts of a larger architectural construct, as well as having lain on the floor of a studio for an extended period of time. Frescoed drawings of insects and bacteria are painted on the folds, suggesting elements of a larger narrative.
